Utilizing state of the art technology from start to finish, Superior Granite has set the standard for natural stone and quartz installation on the Gulf Coast.
We use a digital templating machine to accurately determine the exact amount of material needed for your job. Because we import our inventory directly, our customers are only required to purchase the quantity necessary to complete their project. We do have a minimum quantity of 15 square feet per job in order to keep our shop efficient. The measurements obtained when we template are then uploaded into a computer with software that works in conjunction with one of our several CNC machines. CNC, or Computer Numerical Control, machines are automated tools that make the fabrication of countertops easier to manage. CNC machinery makes errors in fabrication much less likely than using a manual saw. The digital template is uploaded using Autocad or similar software and then used by a CNC machine to fabricate your granite.

Our Process
Superior Granite uses the latest technology in granite equipment
Our state of the art facility utilizes programmable equipment that ensures the best quality. Your project from start to finish will be handled by our in-house employees. We measure, fabricate, and install every project without utilizing any sub contractors.
We plan each project with careful strategy & expertise
Each project is laid out carefully to ensure a consistent pattern. Book matched slabs make this process effortless and our experienced staff will demonstrate this with a layout approval upon request. For more information, please feel free to visit one of our three locations.
State of the art photobooth
The slab you have chosen is placed on a mechanical easel and photographed. The photo is then uploaded to the computers so that your layout can be determined. This allows us to make perfect seams and catch imperfections before cutting. Once your layout is just right, we can send you a preview of your project by e-mail or you can come visit the shop before fabrication. After approval, the design is downloaded directly to the saw for cutting.
CNC Saw
Fully programmable CNC saw. The saw will take an image of the slab then measured pieces in the field (kitchen or baths) are placed on the slab using the machine's 17 inch screen. Once all of the cuts are determined, the machine cuts all the pieces automatically.
Edge Machine
Now that your countertop shape is cut, the next step is to fabricate the edge. There are many different types of edges. From a straight edge to a perfectly rounded edge, even a combination of the two. Please come to our showroom to see all of our custom edges, and decide which one is best for you.
CNC Machine
First of its kind in the United States, this machine is a fully programmable CNC fabrication machine. Based on the programmers request, this machine can apply any edge, make sink cutouts, cut any radius shape… etc. It is also capable of 3D work that can be used to make sculptures.
